Parks Repair Café is held on the second Sunday of the month between 1 pm and 3 pm.
The Repair Café is a free community event where you can get something repaired or even learn to repair and mend broken or damaged items. Save money by reusing or repurposing. Reduce your waste and maybe even gain a skill! We are also a part of the Parks Makerspace, which is open during the week and on Sundays.
The Repair Café is coordinated by our Makers Advisory expert and supported by skilled volunteers who will be involved in the assessment and repair process. Please read and sign our disclaimer. You can download a copy here. The-Parks-Library-Repair-Café-Disclamer.pdf (257Kb)
Talk with our amazingly skilled team of repairs who can repair just about everything from arts and crafts to most household items to electrical appliances and technology. What do we repair? We’ll give you anything you can carry into the Repair cafe.
Bookings are not required, but numbers and attendance will be recorded and managed at the door for COVID-19 tracing and social distancing management.
Also, meet other like-minded people, repairers, makers and community makers. We are also seeking more volunteers who would like to help facilitate the sessions and share their skills. If this sounds like you, visit the PAE Volunteer portal.

ABOUT THE TITLE
In the sleepy, scenic Southern Highlands of New South Wales, a beautiful young woman goes missing.
Six years later, recently divorced historian Rose McHugh leaves the city to start a new life in the Highlands and finds a roll of film buried in her back garden. On it are photos of the missing woman.
Against the advice of an enigmatic detective, she uses her powers of persuasion and her knack for deciphering clues to pursue the case. As Rose searches through tangled secrets and hidden places haunted by the past, she realises there is a killer at large.
As she makes new friends, and dangerous enemies, Rose closes in on a suspect—but will she solve the mystery too late to save herself?
Set in the atmospheric villages and forests of the Southern Highlands, ‘Echo Lake’ is a compulsive read that will keep you guessing until the very end.
