Code Club - Greenacres Library

Click here to book. Discover the basics of coding in a collaborative, fun environment. Suitable for children aged 8-15, our Code Club will meet weekly on Tuesdays. Create simple projects with easy to follow resources from Code Club Australia. We'll help each other troubleshoot and problem-solve and have a fun hour of coding together.
This club will be running simultaneously in the library and via Zoom. To register please visit Eventbrite and choose either Library admission OR Zoom admission. Tickets available from Monday 4 October.
To join in the fun via Zoom you'll need access to a computer (laptop or desktop) or a tablet and an internet connection. A webcam will enable you to interact more fully with other participants.

STEM Squad is a weekly afterschool program for children 9 years and older with a passion for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Children are encouraged to have fun exploring their interests through design, experimentation and the construction of a project using real-world tools and materials.   Booking is essential. 

Please note: There are 2 semesters each year, Semester 1 is from January to June and Semester 2 July to December if you miss registration register for the following semester or join the waiting list and if someone cancels your child will be added automatically and you will be notified by email.

Held on the second Sunday of each month except public holidays.

Booking is not required, but numbers and attendance will be recorded and managed at the door.
Also meet other likeminded people, repairers, makers and community makers.
